Medingo Website Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to all personally identifiable information (collectively, “Personal Data”) that is collected on the SOLO website link web site (the “Web Site”) operated by Medingo Ltd.  This Privacy Policy applies only to Personal Data collected through the Web Site.  It does not apply to any Personal Data collected by Medingo Ltd. through other means.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Web Site or joining our mailing list.  By using the Web Site or joining our mailing list, you consent to our practices concerning the collection and use of your information.

We will not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes without your consent.

Revisions and Updates

Medingo Ltd. is dedicated to developing cutting edge technologies for people living with diabetes.  Our systems are designed to best serve the patient, while taking into consideration changing daily needs and preferences.  As we develop new products, our policies will be reviewed from time to time and may be revised.  Medingo Ltd. reserves the right to change, modify or otherwise update this Privacy Policy, in its sole discretion, at any time and notify you by posting an updated version of the Privacy Policy here.  Under certain circumstances, we may also elect to notify you of changes or updates to our Privacy Policy by additional means, such as posting a notice on the front page of our Web Site or sending you an e-mail. By your continued use of the Web Site, you agree to be bound by such changes, modifications or updates to this Privacy Policy.  Therefore, you should periodically check this page so that you are aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we might disclose it.

Your Personal Information is Important To Us

Medingo Ltd. respects the importance of your privacy. You have a right to make your own choices about how your Personal Data is collected and used.  We know that when you provide Personal Data to us you are showing your trust, and we take that seriously.

Collecting Information About You.

We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily choose to provide that information when you enter your Personal Data on our Web Site, for example by joining our mailing list.  If you contact us, we may also keep a record of that contact.  The Personal Data we collect may include, as examples, first and last name, postal address, email address, age, medical condition and medicines.

By voluntarily providing us with Personal Data, you are consenting to our using it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you provide Personal Data to this Web Site, you acknowledge and agree that your Personal Data may be transferred from your current location to the offices and servers of Medingo Ltd. and the authorized third parties referred to herein for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and pursuant to the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which such office/server is located.

Non-Personally Identifiable Data:  When you visit our Web Site, we may receive and store certain non-personally-identifiable information. We may store such information ourselves, or it may be included in databases owned and maintained by affiliates, agents or service providers of Medingo Ltd.  We may use that information and pool it with other information, including Personal Data, to track data such as the total number of visitors to our Web Site, the number of visitors to each page of our Web Site, and the domain names of our visitors` Internet service providers.

In operating this Web Site, we may use a technology called "cookies." A cookie is a piece of information that the computer that hosts our Web Site gives to your browser when you access our Web Site. Our cookies help provide additional functionality to the Web Site and help us analyze Web Site usage more accurately. For instance, our Web Site may set a cookie on your browser that keeps you from needing to remember and then enter a password more than once during a visit to the Web Site.  In cases in which we use cookies, we will not use such cookies to collect Personal Data unless such collection has been disclosed to you in advance via this Privacy Policy or on the Web Site.  On most Web browsers, you will find a “help” section on the toolbar. Please refer to this section for information on how to receive notification when you are receiving a new cookie and how to turn cookies off.  We recommend that you leave cookies turned on because they allow you to take advantage of some of the Web Site’s features.

We may use “clear GIFs” (aka “Web beacons” or “pixel tags”) or similar technologies, in the Web Site and/or in our communications with you to enable us to know whether you have visited a Web page or received a message.  A clear GIF is typically a one-pixel, transparent image (although it can be a visible image as well), located on a Web page or in an e-mail or other type of message, which is retrieved from a remote site on the Internet enabling the verification of an individual’s viewing or receipt of a Web page or message.  A clear GIF may enable us to relate your viewing or receipt of a Web page or message to other information about you, including your Personal Data.

Our server automatically collects data about your server’s Internet address when you visit us.  This information, known as an Internet Protocol address, or IP Address, is a number that’s automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet service provider whenever you’re on the Internet.  When you request pages from our Web Site, our servers may log your IP Address and sometimes your domain name.  Our server may also record the referring page that linked you to us (e.g., another Web site or a search engine); the pages you visit on this Web Site; the Web site you visit after this Web Site; the ads you see and/or click on; other information about the type of Web browser, computer, platform, related software and settings you are using; any search terms you have entered on this Web Site or a referral site; and other Web usage activity and data logged by our Web servers.  We use this information for internal system administration, to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web Site.  Such information may also be used to gather broad demographic information, such as country of origin and Internet Service Provider.  We may also link this information with your Personal Data.

Any or all of these activities with regard to Web Site usage information may be performed on our behalf by our services providers.
